The College’s Careers and Pathways program is underpinned by a personalised learning approach to support each individual student to identify and complete their own journey through their secondary education.
The College has qualified careers advisors who support students to realise their own goals and provide guidance and support from Year 7 to 12. Students are provided with numerous opportunities to explore the variety of careers available, including visits to universities and TAFE, and can complete work placements as part of their journey. Work experience is offered as part of the program at Year 10.
The DSC Careers website https://www.drouinsccareers.com/ has a wealth of information to help students make decisions about their future career and life beyond school. The site can be used to locate University, TAFE and any other type of course across Australia, to get information about the VCE and VCE VM programs, to search for job vacancies and much more.
